What is a music bed?
A music bed is music that plays underneath speech — low enough that the voice stays clearly on top, present enough that a silence never sounds empty. It is the sound of a produced podcast intro, a radio segment or an explainer, and the whole point is that you stop noticing it.
A bed is not a song. Songs have hooks, vocals and a build that pulls attention; a bed is steady, wordless and long enough to run under the entire segment without an obvious loop.
Cast generates the bed for the episode at the length you need — the Match button sizes it to your recording — and ducks it under the voice automatically, so it dips while someone talks and returns in the gaps. On a licensed plan the bed comes with a commercial license.
