Automatic chapters from the transcript
Cast will read the transcript, find where the topic changes and propose chapters with titles at those points. You accept, rename or drag each one — the same chapters you mark by hand today, drafted for you.
Chapters are already the backbone of a Cast episode: they export as timestamp lists for YouTube and Podcasting 2.0, and they are what the AI Mode beta scores music against. Marking them is quick, but on a ninety-minute conversation you have to remember where the turns were.
Proposed chapters would land as suggestions, not as changes. They would be anchored to words like manual chapters, so cutting filler out of the middle would not move them off their sentence.
