The sound of G
G major is bright, open and friendly, never too sharp or too soft. G minor, with two flats, turns serious and dramatic and is a favorite of film composers. In Camelot notation G major is 9B, next to its relative minor, E minor, at 9A. It is also a friendly key for singers and children's songs, sitting in a comfortable middle range. For DJs, tracks in G mix smoothly with tracks in D and C.
