Kyiv-based techno artist Ruslan Mays is a true professional and music addict. Not only he is a restless #Veselka resident, producer, DJ, regarded as one of the best in Ukraine, he also holds classes at #KulturaZvuka DJ school. Starting in the 90s in Odessa with local radio show and parties, Ruslan quickly earned the publicโs hearts after the legendary Kazantip-2001. Since then, he is the habitue of significant Ukrainian festivals and clubs, cherished for his dynamic #raw #hypnotic techno, ideal to dance to.
The sound generated for Mubert stream is a stored-up work made by analog instruments Elektron Analog Rythm, Analog Four and Moog Slim Phatty, combined with samples recorded during travels.
What is even more peculiar is that the stream is already a part of a collaborative Eve stream by Veselka residents, created exclusively for our Sex Music collaboration for a queer festival โHorovod Nightโ. This was a 36-hour long generative experience for a Dark Room based in Mutabor, a Moscow-based electronic nightclub.
This is the first-ever experience of extracting a stream out of an existing channel, giving fans an opportunity to see familiar music piece from a different angle.
The exclusive artwork for this collaboration is represented by Yan Cook, an outstanding designer, artist, musician, and also a fellow friend of Ruslan. Yan is also a prominent NFT artist, with beautiful pieces presented on the Foundation marketplace.
