Evangelia VS is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, music composer and producer hailing from Crete, home of the enigmatic ancient civilization of the Minoans. She became affiliated with experimental cross-genre composition under her moniker Abyss X through a number of EP releases on various renowned labels including Halcyon Veil, Danse Noire and Infinite Machine. She self-released her debut LP INNUENDO in August 2020, followed by a remix album featuring the likes of SOPHIE, Rui Ho, Gabber Eleganza and more.
As a live performance director, she has worked in a vast range of stage productions and has curated all visual material for her personal musical and performance projects. By now, Abyss X holds a degree in Computer Science, a Masters in Performance and is an alumnus of the Music Business department at UCLA. She has built up an impressive tour résumé, stacking countless live appearances and DJ sets at festivals and venues across the globe. Her live shows are fuelled by elements of pop, performance art, dance and opera. Her four-octave range voice combined with her sharp movement make for a highly arresting show.
