The problem
Retrowave Music
Problem
Synthwave bed overstays or runs short
A neon night-drive edit, a gaming montage or a retro intro runs 3:40, and the stock synth track you licensed is 2:55. You loop it, the arpeggio stutters at the seam, and you lose an evening to crossfades.
With Mubert
Set the exact length before you hit Generate, from a few seconds to 25 minutes. The retrowave track comes out that long, so there is nothing to loop, trim or fade by hand.
Problem
Everyone's retrowave sounds the same
The popular synthwave tracks on the usual libraries are in half the outrun edits on YouTube. Viewers recognize the same gated snare and saw-lead, and your video starts sounding like a template rather than your project.
With Mubert
Describe the tempo, instruments and scene in the prompt, or upload a frame from your video as an image. Each generation is an original instrumental, so your track is not one the next creator also grabbed.
Problem
Unclear rights on monetized uploads
Retrowave tracks pulled from random free packs often come with vague terms. Then a monetized video gets a claim or muted audio, and you are digging through old downloads to prove where the song came from.
With Mubert
Every download comes with a license certificate, and paid plans cover monetized videos, posts, ads and client work. The music is built from samples by human artists who are paid. Content ID registration is not allowed.

Retrowave Music
How to make it
Retrowave works best when the synths do the talking and the drums stay steady. Aim for 90 to 110 BPM, a warm analog bass, a repeating arpeggio and gated snares. That pattern sits well under voiceover, gameplay or a neon-lit edit without crowding speech. For streams and long scenes, a loop of a few minutes hides the repeat better than a short clip.
Paste the prompt into the Render prompt box, set the type to Loop and the duration to 180 seconds, then press Generate. Put tempo and instruments in the prompt text, since there are no separate controls for them. Optional genre and mood presets can narrow the result. Before publishing, check that your plan covers commercial use, and don't register the tracks in Content ID.

FAQ
Retrowave Music
Can I use retrowave music in a monetized stream or video?
Commercial use, which includes monetized videos and posts, ads and client work, needs a paid plan that covers it. The free plan is for non-commercial use only. Every download comes with a license certificate you can keep with your project files.
Can I upload retrowave tracks to Spotify or Content ID?
No. On any plan, you can't register the tracks in Content ID, release them as standalone music on streaming services, or sell them on stock music sites. They are meant to sit inside your own videos, streams, apps and client projects.
