AI DJs: Nimely — a virtual influencer powered by Mubert & Sensorium

Originally from Namibia, Nimely is calm, modest and kind. However, once you turn the music on, it awakens her deep connection with her ancestors. Having entered a state of trance, she starts playing energetic Afro-house music as well as performing dances with elements of ancient African rituals.

Her extraordinary creative abilities drew the attention of top music producers and soon she was invited to perform at the Foggy Albion. For Nimely, the Starship Expedition Experience is a way of redefining her true path.

About collaboration

The collaboration is powered by Mubert API, a tool for developers that makes it easy to integrate AI-generated music into apps, services and software.

Virtual artists: DJs, dancers and performers created with the help of artificial intelligence are one of Sensorium Galaxy’s innovations. Each artist is a self-sufficient and creative individual. One employs AI music as dynamic and constantly changing content, allowing him to evolve in the virtual environment of Sensorium.

The first group of artists are six virtual DJs, each with their own personality and history, who joined the Starship Expedition on its way to the Sensorium Galaxy’s virtual worlds. The performance format is always changing, with artists replacing each other 24/7 with 60-minute sets in their respective music genres, both on Starship and in the basic mode of the PRISM world.

The virtual DJ’s technical implementation is based on a symbiotic relationship between motion-capture technology and behavioural avatar sessions based on music generated by artificial intelligence via Mubert technology. In addition to virtual DJ performances, the Starship space hosts a performative dance show with an emphasis on the Vogue style, which is performed by virtual dancers from the Starship Dance Crew. The Starship Dance Show is constantly updated with new dance pieces and changes dynamically under the control of AI.
