That\u2019s one reason why the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/musically.com\/2019\/07\/23\/ai-music-startup-jukedecks-ceo-now-runs-the-ai-lab-of-tiktok-owner-bytedance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">acquisition of AI-music startup Jukedeck<\/a>&nbsp;by TikTok\u2019s parent company Bytedance this year was interesting, and also why a user-generated-content-angled partnership&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/musically.com\/2019\/01\/24\/tencent-music-strikes-deal-with-ai-music-startup-amper-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">between AI firm Amper Music and Tencent Music<\/a>&nbsp;also raised our eyebrows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fans of the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rule_of_three_(writing)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">rule of three<\/a>\u2019 take note: another AI-music startup, Mubert, has launched a new app that\u2019s all about social soundtracks. The app is called\u00a0Zen 8: Music for Stories, and it\u2019s initially available for Apple\u2019s iPhone. \u201cZen 8 adds music to your stories. There\u2019s just one button. Tap it once and app will create a unique looped music in chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/mubert.com\/render\/genres\" title=\"\">genre<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mubert.com\/render\/moods\" title=\"\">mood<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/mubert.com\/render\/themes\" title=\"\">theme<\/a>. Share it on Instagram and Snapchat right from the app, or save your video to your camera roll to share later,\u201d explains its App Store listing. \u201cNo royalty issues\u201d. It\u2019s a clever idea, although as we\u2019ve suggested before, where this ends up is more likely to be AI-music-generation tools within the big social apps, at the point of video creation \/ sharing.
