It is written for creators, streamers, podcasters, developers and musicians. This page explains who writes the blog, how a post is researched and checked, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes the Mubert blog

Posts are signed by the Mubert Team, the musicians, sound designers and engineers behind Mubert, or by a named member of the team. Mubert makes AI music products, so we have a stake in the topics we write about. When a post mentions our own products, it says so plainly.

How we pick topics

We write about what our readers search for and ask about. Topics come from search data, questions creators bring to us and news from the music and tech industry. Our news posts cover a story on the day it breaks. Older stories get a longer analysis with more sources instead.

How we check facts

Every number, rule, price, date and policy in a post comes from a source we opened, and we link to it. We prefer primary sources: a platform’s own help, policy or terms pages, court filings and the company’s own announcement. After those come trade press and established news outlets. New posts list the sources we used under the text, and older posts get the list when we check them again.

If we cannot confirm a number, we leave it out. No exceptions. We do not invent quotes, studies or people. When we share data from Mubert itself, we give it as shares and ratios rather than absolute figures.

How we use AI

We are an AI music company. We use AI writing tools in our own workflow, for example to draft a post from the sources we collected. The tools never replace the checks above: facts are verified against their sources, and the Mubert team is responsible for everything we publish.

Updates and corrections

Platforms change their rules and rates often. So we keep going back to the posts people read most, open every source again, replace the numbers and rules that moved, and add what a reader of that topic now needs to know. A post that was checked or changed shows an “Updated” line with the date and what changed.

If you find a mistake, tell us through the Mubert contact page with the link to the post. We read every report. We check the claim and, if it is wrong, fix the post and note the correction in its update line.

Who writes the Mubert blog, how we check facts,
